Definitely Premeditated

Published by at 3:56 pm under All General Discussions,VA Tech Massacre

It seems Cho posted a warning up yesterday morning warning of his acts to come:

According to school officials, Cho even had time to post a deadly warning on a school online forum.

“im going to kill people at vtech today,” they said he wrote.

OK, definitely premeditated. So what was his motive? If it was the girl or girlfriend he could have simply rampaged through AJ Dorm where 900 people lived. Why go back to his room and then go to Norris? What made the people in Norris more inviting than the people in AJ? Numbers? And why would be telephone authorities to come to Norris before his rampage?

After leaving the scene of the first shooting, Cho telephoned authorities with a threat, saying there was a bomb at Norris Hall, about half a mile away from Johnston.

First he send the police to AJ on one side, and then he pulls them bacl to where he was going to inflict the massacre. And what about his roommates and all this weaponry he had on him”

At Harper, Cho shared a second-floor apartment-style suite with six other students. The suite has three bedrooms for two students each.

While people point fingers at police, they should be asking whether these roommates noticed the guns and ammunition. His roommate seemed to barely know him (which is possible I guess). But it would seem hard to hide that many weapons and not ever be seen with them. The guy was definitely bizarre.

He bought two guns … a .22 and a 9mm. He filed the serial numbers off of them. Why two guns and why not both of the same calibre? I think I know why. I think he planned to do a Bonnie and Clyde with the girl and him. The .22 was for her to use. I think he had planned for them to go on a spree together but she backed out after he came to collect her for the deed that morning. That’s why he went back to shoot her and the RA. He would have shot the RA because he believed she had told him of their plans. So he went and did it on his own.

No way of knowing that to be true, but that is the only thing that makes sense. Why need two different kinds of ammo and two different kinds of clips? Just one kind would be a lot easier. I think the .22 was for her because it is much easier to handle.

    Interesting CrossPatch.

Yeah, I believe they had planned to pull a Columbine at the school. She backed out, he continued with his plan. I would be interested to know if any of the bomb threats to VA Tech were called in by a female.

Was another vest like the one Cho was wearing found anywhere? Was his girlfriend also a “troubled loner”?

Or he possibly deluded himself into believing she would cooperate with his plan and she reacted with horror when he came to tell her about it. I would also be interested in what anyone overheard in the “commotion” going on between them. Any thing “that’s insane!” or “you’re crazy!”?

    Lets look at the facts:

    1. He initially went to her dorm without any weapons. This tells me he had no intention of shooting anyone when he went there. He expected her to willingly take part in the plan, quite possibly through delusional thinking on his part.

    2. He apparently posted a message about killing people at VaTech before he went to her dorm. This says that he planned to kill people, just not yet.

    3. He called in a bomb threat after the shooting. This tells me he was TRYING to get the school locked down. This would serve to get people pretty much bottled up inside buildings and maximize his “kills” if he went into a building, chained the doors shut, and went on a rampage. If the campus were not locked down, students would be wandering all over the place and the buildings might be less occupied.

It is very possible he *wanted* the campus locked down.

I asked my daughter if she thought the roommate could be so totally unaware of the weapons and she said that it was very possible. She shared the same room with roommates and knew next to nothing about them.
