100 Days of Pelosi & Reid

Published by at 9:29 am under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

We have seen the results of 100 Days of Pelosi and Reid heading up the legislative bodies in this great country and what do they have to show for all their work? Nothing. And expectations of them getting something done in the next 100 days (beyond grandstanding in front of the cameras and screwing our troops by not funding them without reservations or partisan BS)? Bets are on more nothing.

I think the Dems may have something here. If all they can do is nothing maybe people will vote them back in to power – just barely. Clearly no one wants them to do what they scream about!

They were just discussing this on Fox. What have they accomplished? The list of what they promised was read..and then the question asked…how much of that has been accomplished? And the answer was “zero”. BUT..suggested the Liberal, even though we have not accomplished any of the tasks they promised..they “have” had good success in blocking and obstructing legislation and punishing Bush and the WH. ??????

    Huh???

They control BOTH houses…and they have succeded in blocking legislation getting to WH? No, no, no…it’s that they have succeeded in slinging mud and accusations and sliming the WH (you know..the politics of personal destruction that they are so opposed to).

Even the DNC/Liberal rep admitted..that they have so much infighting in congress in their own party that they simply can’t get anything done other than tossing a few personal and/or political handgrenades now and again. I guess it would be entirely too far beyond comprehension to suggest that the reason that the previous republican led congress could not get anything done was because of these same idiots?

Of course, nothing could get done because of these idiots. When they were the minority they took great pride in their obstructionism. Tom Daschle was voted out of office because of his obstructionism and Harry Reid is carrying the ball now. They never learn. I still can’t believe the people voted these idiots into office knowing how they are. But I guess most of the people don’t keep up with the issues but still vote not knowing what they are voting for only for party. Republicans are not for the little man, you know and other various garbage.

The dims have trashed the republican party and when they talk about it I don’t recognize the party at all or the values. But what they are really describing is their own party. Dims are good at this. They describe their own rotten party and say ours is like that.

You know, I am not at all religious. I’ll bet I haven’t been to church two or three times in the last thirty years. But I have long had this feeling that the man upstairs is looking out for this country. That maybe the survival of this country is a test on the survival of mankind. It has certainly seemed in the last few years that when a choice is to be made for the betterment of this country the right decision is made. And when that choice is in the works something happens to waken the population to the right choice and turns them away from the wrong choice. Of course, that does not explain why the dims won both houses in 2006 unless this is to show the people that the dims cannot win the presidence in 2008 and maybe the house and senate also because they cannot be trusted with our safety. The dims are the party of hatred and the attitude shown by the members of the dim party only bolsters this opinion.

I am still waiting for the media to report about Diane Feinstein’s war profiteering while on the MILCOM committee, about Jefferson’s freezer money, Reid’s land deals. But I am not holding my breath. The media carrys the dims’ water and protects them at all costs.

100 days and public approval of Congress is up 15 points. By November 2008, Republicans are going to be run out of DC on rails, covered wtih tar and feathers.

There are virtually no safe seats for Republicans.

    Kit Bond beware.

I thought they were going to get the price of gas down.

sooth, you are dreaming. They manage to come up with one poll that does not have them tanking and you are in heaven. Right now they are only 100 days into their little term and their ratings are not much better than Bush’s or worse. Give them another 100 days and they might make the last Congress look good.

And of course there are safe Republican seats. All this bragging, yeah, you are big and bad. I can remember when Democrats could carry majorities of about 150 or more. Those days are done.

  6. Terrye says:

I just checked out real clear politics and the averages for polling for Congress and Bush, have them the exactly the same, 35.3%

    Truthslayer,
If you want to believe the people are happy with the current DNC leadership in congress….be my guest 🙂
