Liberal Called For End Of Terrorism Laws
In what has to be the biggest foot-in-mouth moment since Neville Chamberlain’s peace accords with Hitler, Canada’s NDP leader called for the end of anti-terrorism laws not too long ago:
“We also have to put an end to the security certificates – the security certificates and that whole piece of legislation, bill C-36, must be thrown out.”

The headline is misleading. Jack Layton is not a Liberal, he is a socialist. Presumably his views will be ignored by the Conservative government.
