Iran Preparing For Armageddon?

Published by at 10:45 am under All General Discussions,Iran

I noted a while back that Iranian President Ahmedinejad is highly delusional, in that he sees himself in touch with the last prophet that will grace the world before its end.

Last year, it was after another khalvat that Ahmadinejad announced his intention to stand for president. Now, he boasts that the Imam gave him the presidency for a single task: provoking a “clash of civilisations” in which the Muslim world, led by Iran, takes on the “infidel” West, led by the United States, and defeats it in a slow but prolonged contest that, in military jargon, sounds like a low intensity, asymmetrical war.

Or he is the last prophet, or something. What sets Iran apart from previous world threats is their Jim Jones maniacal vision where mass suicide and murder is a path to heaven. We know they are preparing their arsenal for this final battle on earth. But we do not know how close they are to be ready. I fear news I just read at Powerline could mean they are getting close:

According to Ahmadinejad, the new Islamic uniforms will establish “visual equality” for Iranians as they prepare for the return of the Hidden Imam. A committee that consists of members from the Ministry of Islamic Orientation, the Ministry of Commerce and the Cultural Subcommittee of the Islamic Majlis is scheduled to propose the new uniforms by next autumn. These would then have to be approved by “Supreme Guide” Ali Khamenei before being imposed by law.

(more here).  The new clothes are meant to allow the hidden Imam and easy way to see who is on his side and who is not. So if they people need to rapidly eliminate those in their midst who could become enemies, they will have no problem identifying them. The logic of Armageddon can be quite cold and calculating.

I would say that if there was ever someone that we would be justified in knocking off to avoid a wider war, it would be this guy. Getting rid of Ahmedinejad has the potential to save thousands and thousands of lives. But if the economy in Iran continues to disintegrate, his own people might drag him out of his position of influence.

  2. Damn, isn’t there some comet these nutjobs can hop on and leave us all alone?

Note to self: Don’t forget the black Nikes in the care package to Ahmedinejad.

I read about this last week and it deeply disturbed me.

There was a series of reports about Iran demanding Jews to wear yellow stars as part of this new move.

Oil is our single biggest problem today… Iran is the singular biggest manifestation of said problem. Venezula is close second.

Honestly, as a lifelong student of genocides and wars… I must say these observations about Iran and others bring me forcibly to the conclusion that we are in some serious hot water.

For one, we have little intelligence capabilities on Iran. We had this problem with pre-revolution Iran… and we know that we must continue to have this problem. I can only hope we have a lot of people in there. I doubt it. This isn’t the Communists. These guys are true believers in a system which is successful for them.

For two, the mainstream media rarely covers these issues.

For three, their world, their mindset, is so dramatically different from our own. We do not understand fanatics here. Our Left makes jokes about the “fundies”… that is about it. Half of our country believes that “fundies” are far worse then Islamists. And Iran? I think they want Iran to do something to us.

What can a well founded terrorist group do? I think we are bitter and disilluisioned. We hear the phrase “State sponsered terrorism” and we go weak at the knees. It is like the “War on Drugs”. It is an old mantle which no one wishes to pick up. It is a joke.

But, it is no joke. Iran was surely responsible for the Lebanese Barracks and Embassy bombings which helped start off this past two decades of Sunni and Shiite terroristic attacks.

Iran is capable of a great deal of evil… we can only pretend they are not.

This is not a day and age where we have to worry about a little country called Germany building up a massive army to take over the planet. Such overt signs which everyone missed… we should not be so fortunate to have. Though, we have every manner of overt sign from Iran that there is a serious problem here.

I think most people expect a nuclear payload delivery among those who expect Iran to act covertly on a mass scale. But it could just as well be something cheaper, such as a mass poisoning.
