USA: Let’s Have A Military Coup

Published by at 5:38 pm under All General Discussions

Brit Hume’s Grapevine had a sad testament to our education system and our society at large.  In a Fox Opinion Dynamics poll only 20% of respondents said the Military should not be led by civilians, and some ridiculous number, well over 50%, thought the military should decide.

Stick a fork in the US of A.  It’s done.

Who are these people that respond to these polls? Have they no clear understanding of what a “military state” is? 20 years Army (ret) and wife of a retired Marine , it is clear the only time the military in this country is “understood” is time or crisis at home. I believe these numbers are largely due to the negative press concerning Sec. Rumsfeld read and heard by those who have never contributed once ounce of time or effort to this country. Sad, very sad.

I think the pollster has to actually explain to the respondent the difference between the two positions, because it is obvious that most people have no clue what they are even answering.
