Emperor Obama Has Emerged, So Sayeth The Lord
Well, we knew Obama’s egomaniac personality would be a horrible fit as leader of America. But now we are seeing how he is going to respond to the drubbing he took in November. He is going to go full steam ahead into liberal madness, beginning with stopping the flow of cheap energy to the US:
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced Wednesday afternoon that the Obama administration will not allow offshore oil drilling in the eastern Gulf of Mexico or off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts as part of the next five-year drilling plan, reversing two key policy changes President Obama announced in late March.

In March–less than a month before the BP oil spill–Obama and Salazar said they would open up the eastern Gulf and parts of the Atlantic, including off the coast of Virginia, to offshore oil and gas exploration. On both of those new areas, the administration said it would start scoping to see if oil and gas drilling would be suitable. The eastern Gulf remains closed to drilling under a congressional moratorium, but the White House indicated it would press to lift the moratorium if necessary.
Wednesday’s announcement is sure to please environmentalists while angering oil and gas companies as well as some lawmakers from both parties who have pressed for continued offshore energy exploration in the wake of massive Gulf of Mexico spill.
Emperor Obama has decided what is best, and us poor servants should be awed and grateful for his incoherent and inconsistent directives. After all, he is the change we have all been waiting for! Poor Democrats, they never really understood how badly they self-destructed when they let the need for power over rule the need for sound judgment.

So Obama needs to study how BP spilled oil in the Gulf for 7 years. How many years did it take to invent the worm that turned Iran’s nuclear weapons program into has beens? Or maybe Obama needs to sell some cars. Well he does own 2 car companies and mostly the government has bought the electric cars.

Yeah, well what the hell does Obama care how much fuel costs? By transporting half of Washington to India for his dog and pony show, he burnt more in one day that most of us will in a decade. But it doesn’t come out of his pocket, it comes out of ours.

The moratorium will only last two years as the Lovely and Gracious and Right Sarah Palin will lift it in January 2013 putting this country back on the road to economic recovery and sanity!

Actually the moratorium will last at least 4 – 5 years, no matter who wins. This is because exploration companies will now be pulling equipment out of the area and mothballing any plans and leasing activities. Even if the policy is changed early in 2013 by a new President, it will still take at least 2 -3 years for any activity to start again. And if most of the offshore rigs are sent this year to places like Mozambique and Brazil (a very high probability) then it will actually be 5 – 10 years before drilling activity recovers to last years levels.
And what impact will this have? Oil in dollar terms is now guaranteed to go up, dramatically so when the dollar falters. This is going to shortcircuit any economic recovery which may have been in the cards for the rest of this decade.
Ironically, oil and gas companies, those with current production, will make more than ever since they won’t be spending on drilling while their current production value soars. Majors like Exxon and Chevron will simply move their activity overseas, they don’t care where they drill.
No, the only group who will truly suffer are American workers who will no longer have the tens of thousands of jobs this could have provided and America itself, as it is just one more nail in the coffin of our economy.

Isn’t it about time we stop attributing to ignorance and incompetence that which is becoming more obviously intentional destruction of this country and its capitalistic system?
Isn’t it about time that the people who have taken an oath to defend her against enemies domestic honor that oath and remove this lying fraud and the vermin that aid and abet him?
So…it doesn’t make a difference whether the ban gets lifted in 2012 because in 2014, a Dem President gets elected and re-instates the ban…
