    Texas had good results:

    1. Perry won. White got most of the big cities but as for Houston, he wasn’t able to get a huge lead to defeat Perry. White got about 50 percent while Perry got 48.2 percent from Houston. Perry got almost all of the rural counties.

    2. Almost all Republican judge candidates in Houston won.

    3. Jack Mormon knocked Sylvia Garcia to retirement after 36 years. About time. I didn’t think he had a chance but he won!

    4. Texas State House got more red…enough red to be able to pass amendments without Dems’ help or interference. Hello to Debbie Riddle’s illegal immigration bill and the voter id bill, to start with. Hello to redistricting to be signed by Perry. Will the Dems pull another out of town absence? I can only hope that Sheila Jackson Lee’s district will be redistricted to the point where it will be more difficult for her to win next time. She won her district handily. So did Al Greene and Gene Greene.

    5. Chet Edwards, Ciro, and another Dem incumbent are finally retired.

    6. With Tancredo, Haley, Christie, Barbour, Perry, to begin with, will begin to work on states’ rights.

The work we did for 2010 is kindergarten level. The first grade work begins for 2012 to strengthen both houses by replacing the moderates in the GOP with those with more conservative values and principles.

    7. King Street Patriots is planning to expand its True the Vote program across the nation so expect to see more poll watchers and alternate judges at many polling booths across the nation. We were poll watchers for one of SJL’s precincts. So many SJL supporters and so many Democrats. Some people came in with the Chronicle newspaper that has the list of endorsements and voted that way. As if they have done no work on their own. ARGH!!

Christine O’Donnell – in spite of her loss, this campaign has made her stronger and more recognizable. Expect her to be doing the same things that Sarah Palin is doing and make lots of money. She could be back for the next election as a stronger candidate.

As for California, guess the state is going to have to file for bankruptcy soon and those voters will have learned a hard lesson eventually.
