Biden Bust
I am not going to live blog the hearings, but Biden stepped into it big time. He asked ‘when will the war be over’ and then added ‘we will have no idea when it is over, so we don’t know when we will no longer need the suveillance’. Gonzales offered up in his response that one option to end it would be for Congress to pass legislation to close it down.
Biden wisely stayed away from the offer.
Biden is getting chewed up. He keeps wanting details which is why we don’t want Congress involved in the first place! Biden is such a bozo, but he is preening for President.
He and the Dems have tipped their hand – they are calling for oversight by the Intelligence Committee to make sure the program is working as advertised.
Looks like a full surrender by the Democrat.
NSA Hearings: Sound and Fury Signifying What?
The battle lines have been drawn and I have no doubt that no one is going to change their minds over this program.
Biden is preening for the Presidency and always will be. A perpetual bridesmaid in that regard.
