Rep Joe Wilson Vindicated

As reader Frogg1 notes, the Senate Democrats scrambled to fix the loop holes in their bill to ensure illegal aliens could not get government subsidized (or rationed) health care. The liberal media shills can post and write whatever they want about Smokin’ Joe – but the fact he forced the Senate to make their bill ban illegal aliens from the government trough means he has been vindicated.

Case closed.

    Joe Wilson has a history of “speaking truth to power”

    … and did anybody see his wife, Val Plame ?

    Here’s an interesting but off topic little case for the morning:

    Andrew Sullivan, pothead, uses his standing with a sympathetic US Attorney (anything political going on??? naaaaahhhh.) to get
    the charges completely dropped so that it won’t affect his immigration status.

    fascinating read;

    What we have learned from “death panels and you lied”, unexpected voices is the only way to get through the MSM and to get to this President. Good for Sarah Palin and Joe Wilson. They got something done!

    Wilson was vindicated in action; but, will he be re-elected? Things are swirling around out there and we will have to wait until it all settles out. A new PPP poll shows Wilson’s seat has gone from safe to toss up after his comment. Yet, several newspaper articles have reported that his District mostly supports him after his comments. His opponent has raised over $700,000; and he has raised over $200,000 since his comments. Rasmussen’s analysis (after Obama’s speech) shows a slight gain in support of Obamacare (although it is only a partisan support from Democrats). The massive tea party protest in DC takes place tomorrow. The CBO just issued a correction to their report……and, I will give the link to this one because it is huge…..and could be a game changer if you ask me. If Obama can’t explain how to pay for a $900 billion Healthcare plan….how is he going to explain how to pay for a $2 trillion health care plan? I don’t think the debate is over. And, once people realize that the only way Obama can pay for this is massive taxes, taxes and more taxes…..I believe a lot of support will drop. Americans are not in ate not in the mood to have their health insurance messed with nor pay higher taxes.

    $1 trillion? No, $2 trillion Obamacare

    excerpt:

    The Congressional Budget Office on Thursday changed its pricetag of $1 trillion to $1.6 trillion over 10 years for Obamacare.

    It left off $1 trillion that it will cost to expand Medicaid.

    “In a letter that responds to a series of questions from Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., who is the top Republican on the Senate panel that wrote the bill, CBO director Douglas Elmendorf said the bill would end up hurting worker wages and employment,”

    He was vindicated, but Pelosi is out to get him. They might try to censure him. The hypocrites.

  7. Rick C says:

    Terrye, I hope Pelosi and company does make some move against Joe Wilson. All that does is keep “you lie” in the limelight for a few more days.
