Obama Stumbles – Tells Truth About Liberal Health Care Scheme

Published by at 7:49 pm under All General Discussions,Obamacare

Our young and inexperienced President came out today and told the truth about the DC liberals’ risky scheme to march toward a government run health care system (not plan):

Meanwhile, at another point of today’s town hall meeting, Obama was pushing back against the idea that the creation of a new government-run plan would drive private insurers out of business, and he said that UPS and FedEx were doing fine, but “it’s the post office that’s always having problems.”

Yeah, but USPS is cheaper right? And universally ‘available’ – right? Or do you mean to say ANYONE can buy a better, more expensive service from UPS and FedEx?

Obama’s team has seen the problem, and it is the DC liberals who refuse to allow their dream of a socialistic health care system destroy private insurance disappear in a puff of opposition from those pesky voters. He is throwing them under the bus, he has to. He even went so far as to lie about his views on single payer solutions, pretending he never supported the idea.

But hey, he is just your average silver tongued politician in way over his head.

Update: Fun facts regarding the post office and FedEx/UPS – guess what, no real competition, no benefits, not cost savings.

Wow President Obama truly is the messiah… he can indeed predict the future. He foretells that this “public option” will be having more problems than private insurance. This is probably the only time he’s told the truth about his plan to deform health care.

    Hello AJ,

Sorry but I cannot understand this sentence,

Obama’s team has seen the problem, and it is the DC liberals who refuse to allow their dream of a socialistic health care system destroy private insurance disappear in a puff of opposition from those pesky voters. He is throwing them under the bus,

Who is them? pesky voters or DC liberals,

it makes a big difference to meaning.

    Thank you

    Daniel,

I initially meant the liberals wailing for government run health care. but you could make the case he is throwing us all under the bus.

I was away from all electronic news sources last week, and it has been amazing to come back and to see how this movement is exploding! I have honestly never seen a true grass roots movement this widespread and this energized in my life.

But as of yet, it lacks a real focus and could peter out if not nurtured. If, and only If, strong, honest leadership can find a way to represent and build on this movement, it holds the promise for great change.

So far, I don’t know who can really rise to that challenge. This isn’t to say no one will; but there’s no one I would place my money on just yet. Like you, AJ, I’m sympathetic to Palin; but she hasn’t shown me that she has the organizing expertise to really take advantage of this. She just doesn’t have the experience, and that IS a real issue – it’s the reason Obama is sinking into ignominious failure right now. All hat and no cattle, as old Texans would say. The movement needs another Ronald Reagan, circa 1979 – but I don’t know who that would be. Remember, by 1979 Reagan had been speaking, leading, and running extremely large organizations for over 30 years. That’s why he could be so successful. That’s the kind of experienced leader we need.

Romney-Palin in 2012, I’d consider. But I’m not really wild about that choice, I want better than that.

I have to agree with WWS on the lack of an opposition leader. Romney is dead even before he starts. The ultimate DOA. Palin lacks experience. Which is why I was surprised she didn’t run for reelection and then for Senator in 2014. She would be able to run for President in 2016 or 2020 with a lot of experience and from DC. The only thing I could think of why she would resign as governor was to leave open the possibility of a 2012 run. I had not realized how weak Obama was, until yesterday’s performance.

Palin needs a national daily radio show soon from which to project herself as the strong, honest opposition leader. She needs to build an organization (both media and political) to take advantage of the current situation. She needs to move quickly before the current opportunity fades away.

Plus the added benefit to kick off some poor radio personalities from conservative radio. WWS: The only other Republican leader out there that I see with experience on a national as well as a state level is Haley Barbour.
